Aquatic puppetry

Developed in Vietnam's flooded rice fields, this form of ancient puppetry portrays the tales of rural life and origin stories from the 11th century. Paired with traditional musical instruments and vocals this is an entertaining way to peer into a world that is very different from today. Make sure to grab an audio guide in your preferred language to hear the full description of each story.
